Summer Activities
The famous resort Grindelwald in the Jungfrau Region is as exiting in summertime as it is in wintertime. Grindelwald lies nestled in unspoilt unique Alpine landscape at the foot of the Eiger north face.
Hiking, Nordic Walking
In summer Grindelwald offers a network of over 300 km marked hiking paths. For example the excellently prepared hiking trail from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg with permanent views of the impressive Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks.
Along the way cosy restaurants welcome you to stay, enjoy and relax.

Mountain Biking
The Jungfrau Region lets you explore 160 km of marked mountain bike trails in a spectacular scenery. There are suitable routes for every level of riding skills. You can improve your skills on the Bike Circuit, let yourself guide easily by GPS and accurate maps, or join one of the guided tours.

Eiger Bike Challenge
Every year the Eiger Bike Challenge takes place in Grindelwald. Meanwhile a classic among mountain bike races. Participants can choose from 3 courses of 88, 55 and 25 km.

Golf
Enjoy a round of Golf in the unique mountainous scenery at the foot of the Eiger and the Wetterhorn. At present this is the only Golf course in the Bernese Oberland where you can play Golf without official Handicap.

Swimming
The open air swimming pool Hellbach offers two pools for swimmers and non-swimmers as well as a children’s pool.
If you prefer to swim in open water the lake of Thun and the lake of Brienz can be reached after a short trip by car or train.
At bad weather the indoor pool at the Sports Center with its Wellness Oasis might be the right choice.

Mountaineering, Via Ferrata
The Jungfrau Region is home to countless majestic mountains in the Bernese Alps offering ascents of all levels. For example the Mönch, one of the easiest summits of over 4000 meters can be reached with ease from the Jungfraujoch.
To those who are surefooted and free from vertigo, the via ferrata offers an experience in-between hiking and climbing.

Adventure Sports

Whether you decide for bridge swinging or bungy jumping, the dive into the Glacier Gorge guarantees a pure adrenaline rush.
The Lütschine is a powerful and challenging mountain river. One of the best rafting rivers in Switzerland.
The First Flyer gives four people the chance to simultaneously yet independently, glide through the air on a cable of about 800 metres length at speeds up to 84 km ⁄ h.
